SEPARS' WEEKLY 2 METER NET
The SEPAR Society net is held each Tuesday at 1930 hours local time on 147.360(+) (tone=110.9) The Net functions to take check-ins, handle traffic and disseminate information on SEPAR Society activities. Following the net, check-ins will also be taken, starting at 2000 hours local time during the Surrey Amateur Radio Club weekly net. We invite participation by all Amateurs.
During the weekly Net we may:
- Ask for any listening Amateur operators to check-in with their callsign and area of the City they are located in.
- Switch to a Simplex frequency to test our ability to relay and pass messages, using only simplex (in a disaster the repeater may become damaged).
- Pass test NTS (National Traffic System) messages.
- or any other plan that the Net control station chooses to implement.
